The Lodges at Cockerdale are owned and operated by Stephen and Jane who, together with their two children, have lived in Cockerdale for the last 14 years.
They are enormous fans of the people and places of North Yorkshire and are keen for others to share their experience of this special part of the British Isles. For this reason, for the first time in its history, they opened Cockerdale to visitors in 2023.
“Our intention is to provide our guests with a unique and comfortable base from which to explore Cockerdale and its surroundings. We want them to have the very best of times, and leave with many happy memories that will linger long after the holiday has finished. It is what we would want for ourselves.”
This is not their first venture into the leisure industry as they have been running one of York’s finest holiday rentals (No. 2, Precentor’s Court, York) for over 10 years:
The Cockerdale Estate Ltd. is the sister company of Boxing Hare Ltd. which owns and runs No. 2 Precentor’s Court.
